The Seybert Foundation

The Adam and Maria Sarah Seybert Institution for Poor Boys and Girls in Philadelphia

General Operating, Targeted Impact

To maximize the impact of our grants of $5000 or less, the Seybert Foundation makes grants in the form of General Operating Support only.  If your nonprofit organization's mission is to serve disadvantaged children and youth in the City of Philadelphia and meets our application criteria, please view the APPLICATION AND REPORT FORMS posted on this site.

Welcome to the Seybert Foundation

The Seybert Foundation is dedicated to supporting our nonprofit partners through changing times.  In 2013, the Board of Directors determined that Seybert's grants would be made exclusively in the form of General Operating Support going forward. To read more about the rationale behind this strategic decision, please visit the "Our Approach" section of this website.

Let us see your program in action!  To learn more about our nonprofit partners, and for you to get to know us, The Seybert Foundation welcomes the opportunity to conduct site visits of existing and potential grantee orgazanizations.  Contact us to schedule a visit.

The Seybert Foundation, incorporated in 1906 as The Adam and Maria Sarah Seybert Institution for Poor Boys and Girls of Philadelphia, is a charitable foundation that was established through the Will of Henry Seybert in memory of his parents.
